lighter

There were more guides than tourists at the castle. We didn't mind the silence.

Just thanks so much!
And I remember that light in the castle. A perfect place to get lost.

Hello Kaija!
I have just gotten caught up with your last several blog posts. Glad to hear you are doing well enough to open your shop back up! I absolutely love your new books with the wooden clasps - very lovely.
Where is this castle?

The photos are from Turku castle. I first moved to Turku in 2004 and this was the first time I went to see what's inside those thick stone walls. The light was phenomenal yesterday, our first warm spring day (perfect to be spent inside a cool castle).
