(wrinkled tar paper, recycled paper, graph paper, vintage encyclopaedia illustration, linen thread, lacquer, brooch pin, pencil)

That's a tiny fish brooch, my friends. I may need to keep this one (even though I hate fish, won't eat it, won't touch it). I like jewelry that seems somehow just a little bit inappropriate, not in a toy-cow-turned-into-a-brooch kind of way, I couldn't pull that off, I'm a simple kind of girl. Okay, now I'm rambling. Have a good day, you.

  1. I like this. The brooch is simplistic. I grew up not really liking fish (my parents are Finnish) but I do like fish now. My son-in-law expertly cleans fresh caught fish and there are no bones at all. When I was young, a fish bone got stuck in my throat and scared me. I find nothing of substance in smelts.

Please leave a message, I'd love to hear from you.
