On Saturday night when I was coming home after 10.30 PM and saw the sunset I thought: "But it's still too early, the night is not supposed to be here yet!"
I've had enough of this hot weather, but I wish the summer could go on and on.
LOL...You can have these long days (and you must need them to balance the long nights of winter) but I want it dark by 9pm. I suspect it is just age, tho when I was a young mother and had long long summer days, it was hard to get the children to bed when it was still light.
I've just got back from a couple of weeks in Europe - and yes those long days are amazing! Here in South Africa we don't have those huge seasonal differences in daylight hours. And I agree - I don't do well in the heat [or the cold - inbetween is just great!]

If it's any consolation, I am over winter, short days and cold toes.
The summer will definately go on and on. I´ve decided there will be no autumn this year.
